We are delighted to share that Studio Atkinson has been recognised in The English Home’s New Year Honours 2026 for our Fyning Lighting Collection.
Fyning was our first decorative lighting collection, and from the outset we wanted to create pieces that feel truly special — pieces that draw the eye and stop you in your tracks as you wonder by.
The collection was inspired by an antique pendant discovered at a market in France. While very intricate and decorative, we chose to pare the design back, refining its form whilst preserving its elegance and individuality. Each piece carries a gentle sense of nostalgia, with an antique brass interior that casts a soft, atmospheric glow.
The lights sit beautifully in a variety of settings — above a dining table, within a window reveal, in an entrance hall to make an impact, or bringing warmth and interest to a darker corner.
As with all of our lighting, the collection is exquisitely made in England by skilled artisans and is available in a range of colours and sizes.
After more than a year in development, we are incredibly proud of the result, and very grateful to The English Home for this recognition.
