At the heart of the studio is Susie Atkinson Interiors, the interiors practice where ideas are explored through lived-in spaces and long-term client relationships. Projects are shaped by a close consideration of how people live, with an emphasis on atmosphere, materiality and proportion. Interiors are layered gradually, allowing rooms to evolve over time and feel grounded, calm and full of meaning. Alongside the interiors practice sits Studio Atkinson Product, an extension of the same design sensibility. The collection is designed in house under Susie’s creative direction and informed by years of interiors experience. While the two practices operate differently, they are deeply connected. Interiors offers an immersive and collaborative design journey. Product provides a more direct way into the Studio Atkinson world, allowing clients and customers to engage with the studio’s aesthetic through individual pieces. Both speak to the same audience and share the same level of ambition.

Studio Atkinson is a family business, led by Susie’s daughter Lara alongside a close-knit team and a network of skilled designers and makers, with Susie overseeing the creative direction of the studio. This generational approach brings continuity and care, ensuring the studio’s values and way of working are carried forward while allowing the business to evolve.

Across both interiors and product, the studio works closely with trusted British craftspeople and specialist workshops.
